Our laser marking and
laser welding equipment and systems are used primarily for laser welding, laser marking, laser engraving, scribing, and ablation on metals and plastics, but are also capable of cutting and drilling.
With 13 models to choose from, our A-Series line of laser welding systems is the most complete line of low to mid-power Nd:YAG laser welders in the world. Our laser welding systems feature power feedback and multiple outputs, and, with a peak power range from 0.01kW to 8kW, can address both micro and macro laser spot and laser
seam welding applications.
Our laser marking and
laser engraving machines include both fiber (Yb: fiber) and Vanadate (Nd:YV04) laser markers to address laser marking, laser engraving, ablating, cutting and drilling applications on metal, plastic and organic materials.
Laser welders and laser markers are unique machines which do not utilize either electrodes or tool bits in the welding, marking or laser engraving process, but rather employ a laser beam driven by a computer controlled system. This results in very clean, precise marks and the elimination of consumables which need regular replacement. It also makes it possible to use either laser welding or laser engraving technology for parts that are not accessible by other, traditional means.
Based in Southern California, Miyachi Unitek’s Laser & Systems Division occupies 20,000 square feet in a facility that includes a manufacturing floor, cleanroom, QA workroom, labs for both laser welding systems and laser marking systems, a characterization lab, an R&D facility, and several customer buy-off rooms.
