Laser welding is a fast and efficient non-contact process which joins two similar or certain dissimilar metals together, requiring access to the weld zone from just one side of the parts being welded. Laser welding systems can produce both spot welds (single pulse) and seam welds (many, overlapping spots), including hermetically sound seams.

Miyachi Unitek manufactures a full range of pulsed Nd:YAG industrial laser welding equipment with average power from 2W - 600W, and peak powers up to 10 kW. We are also the only laser welding equipment company to offer a ‘green’ laser for welding highly reflective materials such as copper.
