
| The A series family of Nd:YAG laser welders has been specifically designed for high performance and reliable laser welding. The A Series Nd:YAG laser welders deliver precise and repeatable pulses, utilizing an internal power feedback system to ensure excellent pulse to pulse stability, so that the demanded pulse is always delivered every time.
The A Series Nd:YAG laser welders offer multiple outputs such that a single laser can support multiple welding systems or support multiple focus heads in a single system. The Nd:YAG laser outputs can be setup for time shared (alternate laser welding) or energy shared (simultaneous laser welding). Each output can be balanced for energy, with enhanced thermal stability provided by ion assisted deposited reflective coatings on all the optical path elements.
Certain Nd:YAG laser welding applications require the weld pulse to be tailored beyond time and power. The A Series Nd:YAG laser welders offer up to 25 segments pulse shape programming. Each segment can be individually programmed for time and intensity to achieve the desired laser weld.
In seam welding the ability to ramp the pulsed laser provides key advantages in laser welding; avoid final pulse cracking and ensure a mechanically sound or hermetic weld, and compensate for pre heated parts to maintain consistent weld penetration.
With a peak power range of 0.01kW up to 10kW, and an equally wide range of optical fiber and focus head set-ups the A Series Nd:YAG laser welders can offer both micro and macro laser welding solutions.
