Miyachi Unitek’s new LMV1000G diode pumped laser marker is specifically designed for high speed precision marking applications on both plastics and metals. It features second harmonic generation (SHG) output using non-linear optical elements which halve its fundamental wavelength from 1064 to 532 nanometers, emitting a green laser beam in the visible spectrum. The focus spot diameter of this green beam is 50% smaller, and the energy density four times stronger than the 1064nm wavelength.
